Website Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Engaged Nation, LLC ("we", "us") collects through the Promo on Demand website, and what we do with it. It covers the home page, the Resource Center (including the documentation, knowledge base, creative assets and the Pro Football Pick 'Em sandbox), the Game Library, the Request a Demo and Contact Us forms, and the sign-in page.

It does not cover promotional campaigns run on Promo on Demand. If you take part in a campaign, that campaign's own privacy policy and rules apply, and they're linked from the campaign's pages. You can also read our standard campaign privacy policy and rules.

1. What we collect

• What you send us. When you use the Contact Us form, the details you enter and your message. When you request a demo, your organization's name and website, the names and email addresses of the people you list, your email address, and your answers about the demo.
• What your browser sends. Like any website, our servers receive your IP address, your browser and device type, the page you asked for and the page that sent you to it.
• How you use the website. Through the analytics tools described in section 2.

2. Analytics: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity

We use two analytics tools to understand which pages are useful and to improve the website. We use them on this website only, not on campaign pages.

• Google Analytics records the pages you view, how you arrived, how long you stay, your device and browser, and your approximate location, worked out from your IP address. It uses cookies whose names begin with _ga. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services, and you can turn Google Analytics off with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
• Microsoft Clarity records how you use each page: where you click, how far you scroll and how you move the pointer. It uses that to make heatmaps and recordings that replay a visit. It uses cookies named _clck and _clsk, and Microsoft may set its own, such as MUID. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement for what Microsoft collects and how it uses it.

Google and Microsoft may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites, including when you use ours.

3. Other services these pages use

• Google reCAPTCHA checks that the Request a Demo form, and the sign-in page, are being used by a person rather than a program. It sends Google your IP address and information about your browser and how you use the page, under Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• HelpDesk provides the Contact Us form. It loads only when you open the form, and what you send reaches our team through HelpDesk.
• Vimeo hosts the product video on the home page. It loads only when you play the video, and Vimeo may set its own cookies.
• Fonts and page code come from Google Fonts and the Tailwind CSS content delivery network, which receive your IP address and browser information when a page loads.

4. Cookies

Besides the analytics cookies in section 2, the website sets one cookie of its own, PRODUCTION_SESSION_ID. It keeps your visit together as you move between pages, keeps you signed in if you sign in, and protects the forms you submit. It expires after 4 hours.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. Our own cookie is needed for the forms and for signing in; the website works without the analytics cookies.

Do Not Track. There's no agreed standard for browsers' "Do Not Track" signals, and the website doesn't currently respond to them. You can block the analytics cookies, or use Google's opt-out add-on, instead.

5. How we use and share information

• To answer your messages, and to set up and follow up on demos you ask for.
• To run the website, keep it secure and stop spam and abuse of its forms.
• To understand how the website is used and improve it.

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the services named above, with the companies that host the website and deliver its email for us, and when the law requires it.

6. How long we keep it

We keep messages and demo requests for as long as we need them to respond and to manage our relationship with your organization. Our own cookie expires after 4 hours. Google and Microsoft keep analytics data for a limited time, under the retention settings of our accounts with them.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information you've sent us, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing privacy@engagednation.com. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights over your information, and we'll honor them as the law requires. Although we don't sell personal information, Nevada residents may send a request to opt out of its sale to the same address.

8. Children

The website is for businesses and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we'll post the new version here and update the effective date at the top.
